My services include prenatal visits, birth planning and preparation, labor and delivery support, postpartum care, and breastfeeding support.

1

Prenatal Visits

These one-on-one sessions offer space to ask questions, explore birth preferences, and prepare emotionally and physically for labor. Each visit is tailored to your needs, building trust and comfort as we get to know one another before the big day.

2

BIRTH PLANNING & PREP

Together, we’ll create a thoughtful, values-based birth plan that reflects your hopes and priorities. Whether you’re planning a home birth, hospital birth, or something in between, this process ensures you feel clear, prepared, and respected in your choices.

3

Labor & Delivery Support

From the first contraction to your baby’s arrival, I’ll be by your side providing continuous presence, encouragement, and hands-on comfort techniques. My role is to hold space, offer reassurance, and help you stay connected to your strength and intuition.

Once baby is here, I continue supporting you with gentle, nourishing care tailored to your family's needs. This may include newborn care guidance, feeding support, emotional check-ins, light meal prep, and help creating a calm, restorative environment.

Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing the placenta after birth—steamed, dehydrated, ground, and placed into capsules—for the birthing person to ingest postpartum. Many believe this natural practice may support hormone balance, energy levels, milk production, and emotional wellness during the fourth trimester. If you're curious about placenta encapsulation and whether it's right for you, I’d be happy to answer your questions.

A note on Pricing

The pricing for each package reflects the depth of support, time, and training that goes into providing quality care. That said, I understand that every family’s circumstances are unique. If you feel a connection to this care but have financial concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m open to having a conversation and will do my best to explore flexible options where possible.

My goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized support—and that begins with open dialogue.

COMING soon: TEns in Labor

Pain management is an important part of preparing for birth. At The Good Hour, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is offered as a complementary option for all clients, at no additional cost.

What is TENS?

TENS is a safe, non-invasive, and medication-free method for managing labor pain. It works by delivering mild electrical impulses through electrode pads placed on the lower back. These impulses block pain signals and encourage the release of endorphins—your body’s natural pain relievers. TENS allows you to remain present and more in control during labor.

Benefits of TENS in Labor:

  • Offers effective, drug-free pain relief

  • Can be used from early labor at home

  • Promotes relaxation between contractions

  • Encourages a more active, engaged birth experience

  • May reduce the need for medical interventions

Expert Support You Can Trust

As a doula trained in the use of TENS for labor, I provide support with:

  • Pad placement and setup

  • Adjusting intensity for comfort

  • Integrating TENS with other comfort measures

  • Guidance on when and how to use it effectively
